Point Lobos

I’m definitely out of my comfort zone on this lesson, but regardless of that, I’ really excited about it! This is a scene from my recent trip to Carmel, California where there is some of the most breathtaking coastline I’ve ever seen. I want to paint it, but I haven’t painted the seascape very much and I have a real aversion to ROCKS! So this is new, new, new! I had the idea to keep it really bold and loose, so I hope you’ll join me in stretching a bit and trying something new.

This is a paid Watch & Paint lesson. In order to see the lesson, you’d need to Sign Up for one of the lesson packages or LOGIN HERE if you’ve already paid.

The Watch & Paint Lessons are an eye opening journey that will allow you to become familiar with the medium of pastels and gain the ability to orchestrate it into lovely compositions. Live Lessons happen every month and give you a chance to directly ask Marla questions while she is teaching and painting. Its an invaluable resource in moving forward with pastel painting.
