Daydreaming Yellow

When I chose this piece for the live lesson, I thought that a lot of people would like it because it is bright, cheery and we can practice on mark making. But I got some feedback and some would say that this painting is a little intimidating and it could be because of the big mass in the foreground. I'm going to walk you through it but pay attention to the way I'm putting down the marks.

I will be going kind of fast and it's probably faster than you are used to painting and that is one of the things that I think is valuable when doing a paint along. I'm going to be nudging you, pushing you a bit to go a little faster than you typically paint. Sometimes, we get stuck in a spot and it's not a good place to be in.
